A combination of pure expanded graphite rings with MG-420 packing at each end gives improved valve sealing over a wide range of pressures and temperatures. A range of qualities is available: industrial, nuclear (in both cases, with and without corrosion inhibitor GRAFOIL ^®GTK, GTJ.) with a variety of sections and densities.This set is adecuated for valve manufactures.

This packing is prepared using pure, expanded, mineral graphite with a 0,1 mm. inconel wire core for work at high pressures. It combines the exceptional properties of graphite with simplicity of use and opportunity to minimise stocks. The graphite used is GRAFOIL^®GTK grade with corrosion inhibitor.Where there is a possibility of extrusion, the use of our anti-extrusion rings (our ref. MG-420) is recommended. It can be supplied also in industial quality ref. MG-780 R

Exceptional chemical resistance is obtained by using pure PTFE filaments, individually vacuum-impregnated with PTFE. The packing is specially designed for use with foodstuffs (FMPA certificate) and contact with liquid oxygen (BAM certificate).

This packing is manufactured from PTFE silk filaments impregnated with PTFE. It is a solid braid, which gives good flexibility and conformability with the shaft and the stuffing box.

A packing with a core having a high graphite content and a reinforcing jacket of braided "E" glass fibre filament with inconel wire; it is graphite-coated.
