This packing is produced combining, in the corners, sinthetyc continuousfilament of high purity carbongraphite (>95%), with graphite powder in order to make better its lubrication with expanded mineral graphite of 98% purity in the center.

The continuous filaments give an excellent mechanical resistance not being agresive for the shaft. The mineral expanded graphite produce an extra lubrication, giving a minimum coefficient of friction. Adding the high chemical resistance of the graphite-carbon permits to work with mostly of the industrial products.
